Mary Alice Park

The Mary Alice Park boat ramp offers convenient water access to the Chattahoochee River and Lake Lanier. Located at the end of a scenic peninsula, this well-maintained ramp is a great option for kayakers, canoeists, and small powerboats.

The ramp features three lanes, a courtesy dock, and ample parking for vehicles and trailers. Even when lake levels are low, the ramp remains accessible. The surrounding park provides restrooms and a small beach area, making it a comfortable spot to launch or take out.

Lake Sidney Lanier is nestled in the foothills of the Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains. The lake features 692 miles of shoreline and spans 38,000 surface water acres and 17,000 acres of lush terrain.
The reservoir was created in 1956 with the completion of Buford Dam on the Chattahoochee River.
