About This Access Site
Masters is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recreation area located on Stockton Lake in Cedar County, near Bona, Missouri. The facility offers a boat ramp for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats, along with a swimming beach and accessible fishing dock. The site is situated on scenic Stockton Lake, which features nearly 300 miles of shoreline and 25,000 acres of water in the Missouri Ozarks. From Stockton, take Highway 39 South for 0.8 miles, then turn left on State Highway RB and follow signs into the park.

The ramp provides direct access to Stockton Lake and the upper reaches of the Little Sac River. This area is popular for fishing (largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, and white bass are common), as well as leisurely paddling with calm conditions and scenic views. Note that water levels can fluctuate seasonally—boaters planning to launch larger vessels should verify current lake levels before visiting. Boating is a popular pastime at the lake. Sailing is especially popular and the lake hosts several races each year. The park provides a boat ramp for easy access to the water. A swimming beach and an accessible fishing dock are also on-site. The waters of Stockton Lake are home to several species of fish including small and largemouth bass, crappie, white bass, walleye, catfish and sunfish, making it an ideal destination for anglers.Facilities

The land surrounding the lake contains hundreds of acres of native prairie grasses, rolling hills and thick forests that turn crimson in autumn.
An abundance of wildlife lives around the water, including wild turkey, great blue heron, deer and bald eagles. Visitors can learn about the lake's bald eagles at the area's annual eagle-watching event hosted each winter.
