Located in Milwaukee on Lake Michigan, McKinley Park Marina is Milwaukee County's only public lakefront marina and serves as a major gateway to Lake Michigan recreation. The facility offers both motorized and non-motorized boat access, with daily and seasonal launch permits available for kayaks, canoes, jet skis, and other watercraft. The marina features concrete boat launch ramps, ample parking for both passenger vehicles and boat trailers, and full amenities including fuel docks, pump-out facilities, and a ships store.
This full-service facility provides transient and seasonal berths for those planning extended stays on the water. The marina currently has 655 slips with floating docks, along with security, electricity, and water access included with rentals. Advance booking for seasonal slips opens May 1 for the general public. The site is undergoing Phase 2 reconstruction improvements, which will include upgraded boat launch ramps, expanded trailer parking, additional passenger parking, and enhanced lighting and facilities. During the off-season, the area is used for winter boat storage on trailers or jack stands.
