Indian Point Boat Ramp

The Meadowdale access site provides boat launch facilities on Glendo Reservoir, a 12,000-acre impoundment of the North Platte River in southeastern Wyoming. Located near Glendo in Platte County, this ramp offers convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters exploring the expansive reservoir. The setting is scenic, with views toward the 10,272-foot Laramie Peak visible across the water. The reservoir supports both motorized and non-motorized recreation.

**Important considerations:** Water levels at Glendo Reservoir fluctuate seasonally, which creates navigational hazards including submerged obstacles and shallow areas. Paddlers should verify current water conditions before launching and familiarize themselves with the area to ensure safe boating. The Glendo area includes multiple public boat ramps and courtesy docks; check current facility status before your visit, as ramp availability and access may change. A separate boat ramp located below the Glendo Dam (across from the Powerplant) provides direct access to the North Platte River if reservoir paddling is not suitable.
