About This Access Site
The Route 105 boat ramp (also called Bog Bridge Landing) provides public access to Megunticook Lake on the west shore near Camden. This is a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters exploring this popular lake. **Note that this ramp is notably shallow and may not be suitable for larger motorboats, especially during lower water levels.** Parking is available across the street from the launch.

Megunticook Lake is a scenic destination popular for paddling, fishing, swimming, and non-motorized recreation—jet skis are prohibited on the lake. Plan your visit accordingly, as picnic areas and boat launches can get crowded on sunny days. If you need an alternative access point, the Route 52 boat launch is available on the east shore. Bring your fishing license if you plan to fish, and remember that water levels can affect launch conditions, so arriving early or checking conditions ahead of time is recommended.
