Located near Fountain City, Wisconsin, the North boat ramp at Merrick State Park provides convenient access to Fountain City Bay on the Mississippi River's Pool 5A. The ramp accommodates both motorized and non-motorized watercraft, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters. The park sits within the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge, characterized by scenic backwater channels bordered by steep wooded bluffs.
