Metonga Lake - South Access

The South boat ramp provides convenient access to Metonga Lake, a 2,000+ acre lake in Forest County near Crandon, Wisconsin. This public boat landing offers paddlers and boaters an excellent entry point to explore one of the area's larger lakes. The South ramp complements the North landing, giving visitors options depending on where they plan to paddle or fish.

Metonga Lake features very clear water and reaches depths up to 79 feet, making it suitable for various water activities. The lake supports populations of Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye, making it popular with anglers. The access site is located near public beaches and picnic areas, providing amenities for a full day of recreation.
