This is an excellent put-in for kayakers and canoeists looking to explore the canal system and access the Gulf of Mexico, located just minutes from open water. **Important note for larger vessels:** The Hwy 98 bridge crossing the canal has approximately 12 feet of clearance (tide-dependent). Boats exceeding this height should use the alternative Circle Drive ramp located just south of the bridge.
Boaters will find trailer parking available at the ramp for up to 14 days at a time. Daily boat ramp permits are required and can be purchased via vending stations on-site for $25 per day.
