About This Access Site
Located in San Angelo off Knickerbocker Road, Middle Concho Park provides access to Lake Nasworthy and the Middle Concho River. The facility features two 1-lane concrete boat ramps suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and small boats. The park is undergoing improvements that include a new 60-foot wide boat ramp, dock, lighted parking area, and restroom facilities with showers. Parking is available at the gate near the spillway. Twin Buttes Reservoir is located about 6 miles upstream for those interested in exploring additional paddling areas in the San Angelo area.
