About This Access Site
Middle Cullen Lake offers a public boat launch providing convenient access to this 397-acre lake in scenic Crow Wing County, Minnesota. Located near Pequot Lakes, the ramp serves as an excellent starting point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring the lake and the broader Mississippi River Headwaters region. The lake's maximum depth of 48 feet supports diverse recreation, and the surrounding area includes family-friendly amenities such as parking, picnic areas, and nearby campgrounds with water and electric hookups.

The access site is well-suited for various water activities, with the lake being particularly popular for fishing Black crappie, Largemouth bass, and Bluegill. Paddlers will find relatively calm conditions on this inland lake, making it accessible for different skill levels. The proximity to other notable water bodies—including Gull Lake and the Whitefish Chain (Cross Lake)—makes this a good base for exploring Minnesota's lake country.
