About This Access Site
**Facility Overview**
Middle Decatur Bend Access offers a concrete boat ramp for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats onto the Missouri River. The site includes parking and a vault toilet. Primitive camping is available near the ramp, making it convenient for multi-day paddling trips. Food trucks operate daily from noon to 8 p.m., with additional snacks and drinks available at an on-site General Store.

**Important Navigation Notes**
Be aware that the ramp approach points downstream and can be difficult to spot from the water until you're very close to the access point. The Missouri River's water levels fluctuate seasonally, and this area is subject to flooding, so check current conditions before your trip. The large, powerful nature of the Missouri River demands respect—paddlers should have solid river skills and be prepared for strong currents and variable conditions typical of this major waterway.
