Middle Warm Springs

Located on the southwestern bank of Warm Springs Reservoir near Riverside in Harney County, the Middle Warm Springs boat ramp provides convenient access to this 4,600-acre impoundment on the Middle Fork of the Malheur River, approximately 13 miles southwest of Juntura, Oregon. The ramp features a gravel launch area with an adjacent parking lot designed for truck and trailer turnaround, making it well-suited for paddlers and boaters of various skill levels.

The calm reservoir waters are ideal for kayaking, canoeing, and small motorized boating. Note that while motorized boats are permitted, wake-producing watercraft are prohibited. All boaters must display a valid Oregon State Marine Board boat permit. The surrounding area offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, making this a scenic destination for recreation and nature observation.
