Midway Landing

Midway Landing offers one of the best launching facilities on Richland Chambers Reservoir, featuring a long, double-wide boat ramp and a protected cove—ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters alike. The facility includes parking for approximately 30 vehicles and provides bank fishing access. Located near Streetman in Navarro County, the landing is accessed via Texas 309 south from Kerens, then FM 1393 west for 2.5 miles, followed by FM 2859 south across the Chambers Creek arm bridge.

The protected cove at Midway Landing makes it an excellent choice for paddlers seeking calmer waters to launch, while the spacious double-wide ramp accommodates various boat sizes and types. This is a well-established facility (developed beginning in 1985) that serves as a primary access point for the reservoir. The area offers a relaxing boating experience suitable for families and anglers, with multiple free public boat ramps available elsewhere on the lake for comparison.
