About This Access Site
Mill Creek Boat Ramp provides non-motorized access to the Henry's Fork estuary where it flows into Island Park Reservoir. Located on the south side of the Yale-Kilgore bridge (river left), this single-lane concrete ramp offers a convenient launch point for kayakers and canoeists exploring this scenic area. The facility includes a courtesy dock and two fishing piers, making it suitable for both paddlers and anglers.

Island Park Reservoir is a substantial 7,000-acre impoundment formed by Island Park Dam, providing plenty of open water for exploration and paddling. The estuary setting offers a transition zone between river current and reservoir waters. Paddlers should note this is a non-motorized boating area. Parking and basic amenities are available on-site, and campers can find overnight options at nearby Box Canyon Campground or other campgrounds in the Island Park area, including West End and Buttermilk sites within a few miles.
