About This Access Site
**Location & Facilities**
Mina Lake is a 411-acre recreational lake in Alexandria, Douglas County, Minnesota. The public boat ramp is conveniently located near the day-use area, which features parking, a picnic shelter, playground, and hiking/biking trails. Handicap-accessible fishing piers are also available at this site. The ramp can accommodate boats up to 12-18 feet, making it suitable for small motorboats, canoes, and kayaks.

**What to Expect**
This is a popular multi-use recreation area, so expect congestion during peak times, especially near the day-use parking areas and boat launch. The lake itself reaches depths of up to 123 feet and is known for crappie fishing. There are no launch fees at this access point. Paddlers should be aware that this is a busy recreational area with pedestrians, bicyclists, and campers (a 37-site campground is nearby), so plan your launch and paddle times accordingly.
