Mineral Springs provides a dirt boat ramp for accessing the Klickitat River in the scenic Klickitat River Canyon. Located at mile marker 11.5 on the Glenwood Highway in Klickitat County, this Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife facility offers an easy, maintained launch suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. The access area is open year-round and includes primitive camping facilities, making it convenient for extended paddling trips. A vehicle use permit or Discovery Pass is required.
The site is best known as a fishing destination, but paddlers will find the setting spectacular, with views of both Mount Adams and Mount Hood visible during the drive in. High-water conditions may warrant using rafts rather than hard boats. Parking is available with one ADA-accessible stall. For boaters seeking access to the Columbia River, the Port of Klickitat's Marina Park offers an alternative ramp with dedicated trailer parking approximately 20 miles downstream.
