About This Access Site
Minky Creek Boat Ramp provides easy access to beautiful Guntersville Lake, part of the Tennessee River system. This dual-lane boat launch is located within Lake Guntersville State Park, offering paddlers and boaters a convenient entry point to explore the lake.

Guntersville Lake is a large reservoir covering over 69,000 acres, with a maximum depth of 100 feet. The lake is known for its excellent fishing, particularly for bass, crappie, and catfish. Paddlers will find a mix of open water, coves, and creek inlets to explore by canoe or kayak. The lake's size and depth make it suitable for a variety of boats, from small johnboats to larger motorized craft.

The Minky Creek access site features three stationary docks, providing space to launch and load your vessel. While there are no restrooms or lighting at this location, the ample parking area can accommodate trailers and vehicles. Boaters and paddlers should exercise caution when entering and exiting the water, as the lake can experience variable wind and wave conditions.
