The Minocqua Thoroughfare ramp, located at 9175 Thoroughfare Road in Woodruff, provides access to the Minocqua Thoroughfare waterway. This town-owned facility features a launch dock, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. Be aware that there is **no turnaround area at the ramp**—you'll need to back your vehicle from the upper turn area down to the launch site. Parking is roadside only and extremely limited, so plan accordingly, especially during peak season.
**Permit Requirements:** From April 1st through November 30th, all tow vehicles require either a daily permit or seasonal use permit through the Town of Minocqua. Secure your permit before launching. The ramp offers no boat slips or additional amenities, so arrive prepared and consider visiting during less crowded times if parking is a concern.
