About This Access Site
Mirror Lake State Park offers a scenic, well-maintained boat launch in Lake Delton, ideal for kayakers and canoeists. The main ramp features wheelchair-accessible access, outhouses, and a nearby concessionaire that rents watercraft. Note that non-trailer users must park at the far east end, which involves approximately a 500-foot walk to the launch. The park also includes a 200-foot swimming beach and picnic facilities, making it a popular destination in the Wisconsin Dells area.

Mirror Lake is a small, narrow body of water with no current, making it perfect for leisurely round-trip paddling. The upstream lobe and downstream dam area offer easy exploration options for paddlers of all skill levels. The lake's size and sandstone banks restrict motorboat use to slow-wake speeds only, creating a peaceful paddling environment. Equipment rentals are available near the boat ramp for those without their own gear.

**Planning Note:** Mirror Lake State Park will undergo construction beginning in 2026, including roadway resurfacing and parking lot expansion. Expect potential disruptions throughout the 2026 season, though specific dates are pending. Contact the park ahead of your visit for current conditions during this period.
