Missouri Bend Recreation Site

Missouri Bend is a day-use only access point on the Alsea River located approximately 33 miles southwest of Corvallis near Alsea, Oregon. The site features a unique winter pole slide boat launch with cables and pulleys—a steep ramp system designed for launching personal watercraft and small boats. River access is also available via stairs leading down from the parking area. The facility includes vault toilets, picnic areas, and a short interpretive trail, making it a convenient stop for paddlers and boaters.

As a day-use facility with no overnight camping allowed, Missouri Bend works well for launching day trips on the Alsea River. The site is situated directly off Highway 34, making it easy to locate.
