The Moen Lake public boat landing is located off Lake Shore Drive on the west side of Moen Lake in Rhinelander. This is one of the limited public access points available on the 461-acre Moen Lake, as the majority of the shoreline is privately owned. The ramp provides boat access to the lake for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters.
Moen Lake is a shallow water body with a maximum depth of 11 feet and low water clarity. Paddlers should be prepared for these conditions when planning their trip. The lake supports a diverse fishery including Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. Keep in mind that much of the surrounding shoreline remains private property—stay on the water and respect posted property boundaries.
