Located in Sardis along Patton Run near the Ohio River in Monroe County, this public boat ramp provides access to one of the region's major waterways. The Ohio River borders western Monroe County for approximately 38 miles and offers excellent opportunities for boating, fishing, and paddling. This is one of four public access points in the county for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The nearby Hannibal Pool, created by a modern dam structure, affects water conditions in this section of the river.
Paddlers and boaters should note that the ramp is primarily designed for launching and loading vessels, so please keep the ramp and entry areas clear of parked vehicles. Anglers are welcome to fish from the river banks, but should avoid fishing from the launch ramp itself to maintain access for other users. Before launching, check current Ohio River conditions and water levels, as flow and conditions can vary seasonally. This location serves as a convenient put-in for exploring the Ohio River main stem as well as Patton Run's tributary paddling opportunities.
