Moose Creek

The Moose Creek boat ramp provides access to Piledriver Slough, a tranquil, slow-moving waterway near North Pole, Alaska. This site is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats looking to explore the scenic Alaskan landscape.

The boat ramp is located approximately halfway between North Pole and Eielson Air Force Base, offering a convenient launch point. Piledriver Slough is generally calm and slow-moving, making for a leisurely paddle or float. Nearby Chena River Lakes also offer additional recreational opportunities, including hiking and wildlife viewing.

Please note that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is currently undergoing construction to improve public access at the Moose Creek site, so visitors should check for any temporary closures or changes before planning their trip.
