Moose Lake

Located in Pennington near Blackduck, Minnesota, the Moose Lake boat ramp offers public access via a double concrete ramp with a center dock situated on the southeast shore off Moose Lake Road. This is an excellent launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and small to medium-sized motorboats seeking to explore Moose Lake and the Moose Lake Chain of lakes in the Chippewa National Forest area.

The access site serves as a staging area for recreational activities including fishing, paddling, and canoeing. A park office is available nearby where visitors can obtain information and arrange boat, canoe, and kayak rentals if needed. The area is known for its scenic beauty, particularly during fall when reflections and early morning fog create excellent photography opportunities. With 35 nearby campsites available, paddlers can plan multi-day trips or extended weekend getaways in this remote forest setting.

Facilities
The Webster Campground offers 15 campsites, all available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No shower facilities on site, vault toilets located on inside of the loop across from beach access.
