Moose Lake

Located in Solway near Moose Lake State Park, this public access site features a **double concrete ramp with a center dock** on the southeast shore, providing reliable launch and landing for kayaks, canoes, and small to medium-sized motorboats. The facility is well-maintained and conveniently positioned for accessing Moose Lake and the greater Moose Lake Chain of waterways.

The ramp serves as the primary staging area for the park's boat, canoe, and kayak rental program—stop at the park office to arrange rentals or check current conditions. With 35 campsites available nearby (20 with electric hookups), this is an excellent base for multi-day paddling trips. The lake is popular for fishing, canoeing, and recreational kayaking, and the area is noted for exceptional fall colors and scenic reflections, particularly during early morning hours.
