About This Access Site
**Location & Access:**
Moose Lake is an 83-acre lake located near Antigo in Langlade County, Wisconsin. The boat ramp provides direct access to the lake. From Hayward, Wisconsin, drive east on State Highway 77 for about 28 miles, then turn right onto Forest Service Road 174 (approximately 1 mile), followed by a right turn onto Forest Service Road 176. Land access is also available via Kaiser Road (0.8 miles north from the Moose Lake Road/Kaiser Road junction, then 0.2 miles west on an access road to a gate).

**Paddling & Fishing:**
Moose Lake is ideal for kayaking, canoeing, and recreational paddling on a calm freshwater lake. Anglers will find Panfish, Largemouth Bass, and Northern Pike. With a maximum depth of 61 feet, the lake offers good conditions for various water activities. Those interested in exploring additional paddling opportunities can continue 0.3 miles west to Little Moose Lake's boat ramp. The main lake also allows upstream boating for approximately 0.2 miles.
