**Important:** There is no public boat launch at Moraine Lake. This is a carry-in access site only—you'll need to transport your kayak or canoe from the public parking lot to the water. Canoe rentals are available seasonally (mid-June through mid-September) if you need equipment.

**Nearby Camping:** Moosehead Lake Camp is located near this access point and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment can be made on-site, with the option to use the Recreation.gov mobile app's Scan and Pay feature if available. Several other reservable campgrounds are within 10 miles, including Henry Lake Camp, Bobcat Lake Camp, and Pomeroy Lake Camp, offering more convenient camping options if you prefer advance planning.
