Moran Lake

**Location & Facility:** Moran Lake's county-owned public access is located on the north end of the lake off 149th Avenue, about four miles south of Park Rapids in Hubbard County. The facility features an earthen boat ramp suitable for launching boats up to 12-18 feet in length.

**Lake Characteristics:** Moran Lake is a long, narrow shallow lake covering 100 acres with a maximum depth of only 15 feet. These shallow conditions make it ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats, though larger vessels may have limited navigation options. The lake's size and depth profile make it well-suited for recreational paddling and fishing.

**Access Information:** There are no launch fees at this access point. The earthen ramp provides basic launching capability for hand-powered and motorized watercraft. Contact Hubbard County or check local resources for current conditions and any seasonal access updates.
