Morel's is a public boat ramp providing access to False River, a 14-mile oxbow lake located in Pointe Coupee Parish near New Roads. The site offers convenient parking at the ramp and serves as a good launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters exploring this scenic waterway. The calm, slow-moving oxbow environment makes it suitable for paddlers of various skill levels.

False River remains open year-round for fishing and recreation.
