About This Access Site
This public boat ramp in Moose Lake State Park provides excellent access for kayakers, canoeists, and smaller to medium-sized motorboats. The facility features a **double concrete ramp with a center dock** located on the southeast shore of Moose Lake off Moose Lake Road, making it ideal for launching and retrieving watercraft of various types. The park also offers canoe and kayak rentals available through the park office, perfect for visitors without their own equipment.

The ramp serves as a gateway to Moose Lake and the surrounding Moose Lake Chain of lakes. The area is particularly scenic during fall, with excellent early morning fog and water reflections ideal for paddling photography. Beyond boating access, the state park includes a campground with 35 wooded sites (20 electric, 15 non-electric), a beach, fishing pier, and visitor center all within walking distance. Standard BWCAW regulations apply to the area, so paddlers should review those guidelines before heading out.
