Mosquito Lake State Park in Cortland provides public boat access to Mosquito Creek Lake, a expansive 7,850-acre recreation area popular with anglers and recreational boaters. The park features four launch ramps around the lake, with this location on the east side near the causeway. Ample parking is available in gravel lots near the launch area, and unlimited horsepower boating is permitted on the lake.
The park offers excellent support facilities for a full day on the water, including boat rentals, seasonal dock rentals, and fuel services. If you plan to stay overnight, the park has a 218-site campground with electricity and water hookups, plus additional non-electric sites. The campground launch ramp and tie-up dock provide convenient access for campers. Restrooms and shower facilities are available throughout the park, making it suitable for extended visits.
