Located at the main entrance of Mosquito Lake State Park off State Route 305 in Cortland, this marina concession ramp provides convenient access to Mosquito Creek Lake, a large 7,850-acre impoundment. The ramp is one of four public launch facilities on the lake and serves as the primary access point with full amenities, including fuel (the only water-accessible fuel on the lake), boat and kayak rentals, and a tackle shop. The marina concession also offers seasonal dock rentals and boat rentals for those without their own watercraft.
The lake supports unlimited horsepower boating and is well-established for recreation, with excellent fishing for walleye, crappie, bass, bluegill, and perch. Paddlers should note this is a large lake environment rather than a creek setting, so conditions can vary with wind and weather. The concession location provides easy vehicle access and ample parking, making it an accessible entry point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters alike.
