About This Access Site
**Overview:** Mud Hen Lake is a 569-acre public access lake located near Siren in Burnett County, Wisconsin. The lake offers a moderately clear water environment with a maximum depth of 66 feet, making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorboating. The public boat ramp provides reliable access for launching small to medium-sized watercraft.

**Facilities & Practicalities:** The access site features ample parking and outhouses located east of the main landing. A self-pay station is in place at the entrance. Note that goose droppings are common at the ramp, so watch your footing when launching. A Wisconsin state park sticker is required for access. The lake supports populations of panfish, largemouth bass, and northern pike, making it popular with anglers as well as paddlers.
