Mud Lake

Mud Lake provides public boat access to Lake Monongalia, a 2,290-acre lake in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota. Located near New London, this ramp accommodates a range of watercraft, with most launch facilities handling boats up to 12-18 feet. The lake has a maximum depth of 14 feet and features a sand and gravel bottom substrate with waterlilies and abundant wild rice—typical characteristics of Minnesota's glacial lakes.

This is a straightforward access point suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats. Parking is available, and facilities include outhouses. Note that if this access is located within a state park, a state park vehicle permit sticker will be required.
