Munn Lake

Munn Lake is a 32-acre lake located in Olympia near the airport, offering a convenient public boat launch maintained by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The access features a paved entrance road, parking lot, and concrete slab boat ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats. The site is easily accessible from Old Highway 99—turn north on Henderson Boulevard for 1.2 miles, then east on 65th Avenue SE for 0.3 miles.

This small, calm-water lake is ideal for paddlers seeking a protected paddling environment close to Olympia. The lake supports fishing for rainbow trout (8-10 inches), largemouth bass, and bluegill, and swimming is also permitted. Basic facilities include a toilet on-site. The nearby Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge offers additional recreation opportunities in the area.
