Located at the Munuscong River State Forest Campground near Pickford, this access point offers a convenient ramp launch directly into the Munuscong River. The ramp is situated on the campground grounds, providing easy water entry for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. From the launch, paddlers can explore one mile of river before reaching Lake Munuscong. This location works well for both day trips and multi-day paddling adventures.
The campground offers rustic camping with parking lot access, pit toilets, and potable water available via hand-pump. **Note: A Michigan Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry.** Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay, and sites are available both on the water and inland. The campground is located approximately 15.4 miles southwest of Munuscong via South Riverside Drive, and vehicles up to 40 feet are accommodated.
