About This Access Site
Mustang Park North offers convenient access to Benbrook Lake and Mustang Creek via a dedicated boat ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. Located on the south side of Benbrook Lake near Fort Worth, this day-use facility provides a two-lane ramp with parking for multiple vehicles. The ramp at the north end of the park provides direct access to the main lake, while additional ramps elsewhere in the park connect to Bear Creek and Mustang Creek channels, offering paddlers options for exploring both open water and creek environments.

**Practical Details:** Day-use fees are $5 per vehicle and $5 for boat launch access, payable at the entrance station. The park is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Amenities include picnicking, fishing, and wildlife viewing areas. Note that swimming is not permitted near boat ramps. To reach the north ramp, take Winscott Plover Road north from FM 1187 Crowley Plover Road for approximately one mile to the park entrance.
