About This Access Site
Nancy Lake is a 757-acre lake in Washburn County near Minong, Wisconsin, offering excellent access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 39 feet and features notably clear water, making it ideal for paddling and fishing. Two public boat landings provide access to the lake: one on the west side off Three Mile Road and another on the east side off Karling Court, giving paddlers options depending on which area of the lake they wish to explore.

The lake supports a healthy fishery including musky, panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye, making it popular with anglers. The clear water conditions and substantial size make Nancy Lake well-suited for recreational paddling, whether you're launching a kayak or canoe. Visitors should plan their trip according to which access point best suits their destination on the lake, as the two landings serve different areas.
