The Natalie boat ramp provides access to the Dollarville Flooding, a calm, scenic waterway that's part of the Tahquamenon River watershed and managed as a state wildlife management area. This is an excellent location for kayakers and canoeists seeking peaceful paddling and wildlife viewing opportunities. The floating fishing pier (built in 1991) adds to the amenities available at this rustic access point.
**Directions & Access:** From Dollarville Dam, turn west off County Road 387 onto West McMillan Avenue (County Road 405). Continue around the sweeping left corner and turn right (west) onto County Road 434, which will lead you to the boat launch. Note that County Road 434 is **not maintained during winter**, though other county roads in the area are maintained year-round. Plan accordingly if visiting in winter months.
The calm waters of the Dollarville Flooding make this a suitable destination for paddlers of various skill levels. The state wildlife management area designation means the area supports good wildlife viewing—a major draw for many visitors to this rustic facility.
