About This Access Site
Located in the scenic Red River Gorge area near Slade, Kentucky, the Mill Creek Lake boat ramp provides convenient access to a peaceful 95-acre lake ideal for paddlers and recreational boaters. The ramp accommodates both kayaks and canoes, with rentals available during summer months. The area is part of Daniel Boone National Forest on the Cumberland Plateau, offering a picturesque paddling experience surrounded by Appalachian mountains and forest.

The lake is well-suited for fishing and wildlife observation, with populations of bass, bluegill, crappie, and trout. Electric motors only are permitted on fishing boats.
