About This Access Site
Newberry Creek Resort & Marina is a full-service boat access point on Lake Texoma near Mead, Oklahoma, located off Highway 70 between Kingston and Mead. The facility features a paved, multi-lane boat ramp suitable for launching various watercraft, along with ample trailer parking and a gas dock for refueling. Additional amenities include covered boat slips (10' x 22' to 16' x 40'), a ship store, dry storage, and courtesy docks with regular and premium unleaded fuel available.

This access point opens onto Lake Texoma, the largest lake in the Tulsa District and one of the most significant recreational water bodies in the region. The underlying Washita River is a large, powerful waterway—a 598-mile river system with an average flow of 2,645 cubic feet per second and current velocities around 4.2 feet per second. Paddlers and boaters should be prepared for significant water movement and plan accordingly. The marina offers a range of services including RV parking, cabin rentals, and camping facilities, making it suitable for extended trips. The facility is non-reservable, so arrival on a first-come, first-served basis is typical.
