Nodaway Valley Conservation Area offers a public boat ramp providing access to the Nodaway River in northwest Missouri near New Point. This 3,881-acre conservation area features a developed ramp facility along with a disabled-accessible fishing jetty and privy. The site is located in Andrew and Holt Counties and can be accessed from Maryville by taking Highway 148 north approximately 5.5 miles.
The area is open to the public from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, though boat launching and landing are permitted 24 hours a day where allowed. Kayakers and canoeists will find the Nodaway River accessible here, with multiple other access points available along the river corridor, including Jentell Brees access to the south and Nodaway Island access to the north near Amazonia. Bank fishing is also excellent throughout the area if you're interested in multi-use recreation.
