North Center Lake

North Center Lake's public boat ramp is conveniently located on the southern shore directly off Highway 8 in Center City, Chisago County. This access point offers ample parking and is suitable for launching trailered boats up to 12-18 feet. There are no launch fees at this public access site. The ramp provides easy entry to the 749-acre lake, making it an ideal starting point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters.

North Center Lake is a well-developed recreational destination with a maximum depth of 46 feet, offering plenty of room for various water activities including kayaking, canoeing, boating, fishing, and swimming. Paddlers can also explore the navigable channel connecting North Center Lake to South Center Lake, expanding your paddling opportunities in the area. A secondary fee-based landing operated by a resort is available on the western shore for those seeking alternative access.
