The North boat ramp provides convenient access to Lake Bonham on East Oakland Creek in Fannin County. Located on the south shore at the east end of the lake, this ramp is easy to find: take FM 273 northeast of Bonham, turn east on Recreation Road 3, then north on Fannin County Road 2524, and follow signs to Boat Ramp Road. The access area includes restroom facilities and day-use picnic areas managed by the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD).
This launch point is ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring Lake Bonham's waters. The lake features fish habitat structures and a fishing T-pier near the ramp, with abundant cattail shoreline and scattered boat houses providing scenic paddling areas. The ramp is free to access and well-maintained as part of NTMWD's public recreation initiative.
