The North Little Rock River Front Park boat ramp provides direct access to the Arkansas River, a major waterway that flows for over 1,200 miles across the central United States. With an average flow of over 51,000 cubic feet per second and a total drop of nearly 10,000 feet, the Arkansas River offers a variety of paddling and boating opportunities.
The boat ramp at North Little Rock River Front Park is located at the North River Landing, just off Interstate 30 near the Broadway exit. This large launching area is part of the Arkansas River Trail system, which connects to the nearby Junction Bridge. Paddlers, canoeists, and small motorized boats can easily access the river from this site. However, users should be aware that the ramp may be temporarily closed during the ongoing I-30 Crossing project in the area.
Beyond the boat ramp, the North Little Rock River Front Park provides scenic views, walking trails, and other recreational amenities along the riverfront. Nearby attractions include the historic Little Rock Central High School and the Terry Lock and Dam, which offer additional opportunities for enjoying the Arkansas River.
