The Treasure Island boat ramp provides public access to the North Platte River approximately 6 miles south of Saratoga via Wyoming Highway 230. The access area features a dedicated boat ramp, parking, handicap-accessible facilities, and foot bridges. Be aware that access is via a 1.25-mile dirt road with a bridge that has a 12-ton weight limit per vehicle (higher limits apply when towing). Nearby campground options include Bennett Creek, Corral Creek, and Bennett Peak campgrounds within 10 miles.
The North Platte River is a substantial waterway offering diverse paddling and boating opportunities. This access point serves as an excellent put-in or take-out location for floating trips on the river. As a major drainage system in Wyoming, the North Platte supports varied fishing opportunities and scenic float trips.
