North Point Recreation Area

North Point Recreation Area, located at 38180 297th Avenue in Lake Andes, Charles Mix County, provides boat ramp access to Outlet Garden Creek and the Missouri River system in southeastern South Dakota. The facility offers a dedicated boat ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats, making it an accessible entry point for paddlers looking to explore this portion of the river.

The recreation area is part of the larger Lake Francis Case system and offers multiple amenities beyond water access, including a fish cleaning station, picnic areas, and a full campground with RV facilities. The area is known for excellent fishing and is a popular destination for boating, paddling, and water sports.
