About This Access Site
Located 8 miles west of Zwolle in Sabine Parish, this access point offers a well-developed double boat ramp for launching onto Toledo Bend Reservoir. The facility includes a large parking lot (approximately 30 vehicle spaces), boat rentals, and a fish cleaning station. The boat ramp is usable down to 163 msl (mean sea level), making it accessible during most water conditions. This is one of approximately 33 public access areas around the 160,656-acre reservoir, which straddles the Texas-Louisiana border along the Sabine River.

Toledo Bend Reservoir is a large impoundment suitable for various water activities including fishing, kayaking, and recreational boating. Paddlers should note that this is a reservoir rather than a free-flowing river, offering calmer, lake-like conditions. The facility is located in Louisiana's pineywoods region. For current conditions, facility hours, or specific amenities, contact the Sabine River Authority of Texas at 409-625-1940. Be sure to use only designated boat ramps when accessing the water.
