About This Access Site
The North Twin Lake Recreation Area provides public boat access to North Twin Lake, a 2,871-acre lake located near Westboro in Taylor County. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 60 feet and is well-suited for both paddling and motorized boating. The ramp is accessible via Forest Road 102 off County Trunk Highway E, approximately 17 miles northwest of Medford.

North Twin Lake is a popular destination for anglers targeting musky, walleye, northern pike, bass, and panfish. Paddlers and boaters can expect plenty of space to explore, with good water clarity and multiple access points around the lake. Note that the associated campground at this location remains closed, but the boat landing itself remains open year-round for day-use access. Nearby camping alternatives include Eastwood, Picnic Point, Spearhead Point, and Westpoint Forest Service campgrounds in the area.
