Northside

The Northside boat ramp provides access to Foss Reservoir on the Washita River in Butler, Custer County. This impoundment offers over 5,000 acres of water surface and approximately 63 miles of shoreline, making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. The reservoir is managed for water supply and recreation, with multiple access points available throughout the area.

Paddlers should be aware that conditions can change quickly on this lake—winds and waves can build rapidly due to the north-south orientation of the water body and prevailing wind patterns.
